Phuket for Families
The Kingdom of Thailand lies at the heart of Southeast Asia. If you look on a map you'll notice the country's shape curiously resembling the head of an elephant, and at 198,114 square miles is about the size of the state of Texas. Thailand has borders with several countries - Cambodia to the east, Laos to the northeast, Myanmar to the west, and Malaysia to the south; but still has endless miles of tropical coastline and paradise islands.
The Climate
The climate of Phuket is tropical and warm year round. During the summer months (June—October) you'll experience the monsoonal rains which bring about the wet season and mosquitoes.
All seasons are hot but the hottest is between March and May where the average temperature will range from 32 to 38 degrees Celsius.
